As consultants to United IT staff, Awesome people acted as analysts and project leader from detail design through implementation of a Direct Deposit Payroll Sub System for the Airlines 85,000 check payroll. The system encompassed the processing of applications and the tracking of direct deposit requests through GUI Peoplesoft screens to a DB2 database that was uploaded to the mainframe; there, bank transmissions and check information from a CICS/IDMS payroll system and a CICS/DB2 interim payroll were resolved and then either held, paid by paper check, or released for direct deposit through CICS transactions.
